Drag & drop, conflicts detected

Reorganize by modality, room or radiologist. Incompatible slots, insurance conflicts and breaks are highlighted before commit.

On appointment confirmation, the RIS pushes the exam to the modality — patient ID, procedure code, allergies and history included, no manual handling.

FIG. 1.4

Multi-site, granular permissions

Run several practices or imaging centers from one interface. Permissions cascade down to the room, the radiologist and the modality level.

The report, augmented by AI.

The radiologist dictates, the RIS transcribes and corrects. Medical terminology, laterality, negations and measurements are checked before signature — the physician validates, never re-types.

IA Augmented dictation →
Dictating · Lumbar MRI

« L4-L5 disc disease with posterior protrusion. No nerve root impingement. »

FIG. IA.1

Transcribed in seconds

Dictation is transcribed the moment recording ends — no keyboard entry, no waiting on the front desk to type. The radiologist keeps control of the text at all times.

Épanchement pleural à droite

Absence de nodule suspect.
FIG. IA.2

Medical post-correction, controlled

A language model fixes radiology terminology, punctuation and formatting — never flipping a side or dropping a negation. Data is anonymized before processing, in line with the Swiss nLPD.

Critical finding detected

Right tension pneumothorax. Report signed 40 s ago.

Referrer notified
FIG. IA.3

Automatic critical-finding alerts

On signature, the RIS re-reads the report and flags life-threatening findings — pneumothorax, stroke, unstable fracture. The referring physician is notified immediately, so nothing urgent sits in a queue.

Pre-exam checks
Iodine allergy — contrast CT requested
Pacemaker — MRI to confirm
Identity and side match
FIG. IA.4

Safety checks at admission

Before the exam, the RIS cross-checks prescription, history and identity: contra-indications (iodine, pacemaker), laterality or identity mismatches are surfaced to the front desk. The radiologist decides, the error doesn't get through.

Manage admissions with Triage.

Insurance checks, sanity checks and relative urgency get sorted in a shared inbox — the team always knows what to handle first.

1.2 Triage →
EX-2842Admission

Insurance check — incomplete coverage

The patient's LAMal card doesn't cover the contrast MRI. Triage suggests an LCA addendum or a postponement.

FIG. 1.5

Shared inbox for admission

Any detected anomaly (insurance, history, contraindication) creates a prioritized ticket in Triage. The front desk handles it, the radiologist validates.

Auto-routing to the right team

Every request is routed by rule: urgent vs scheduled, modality, insurance, site. Each team only sees what's theirs.

On-call rotations and SLAs

On-call rotations, regulatory turnaround times and relative urgencies are tracked by the system. If a read goes past its SLA, the team is notified.

The case moves itself forward

Every completed step triggers the next: report signed → invoice, exam done → referrer notified. No manual nudges, no forgotten case.

Build what radiologists actually bill.

Tardoc is natively integrated. Every exam goes out to the insurer with the right codes, validated and signed — no front-desk rework.

Insurers connected, claims tracked

Native connectors to the main insurers. Submission status, rejections and turnaround times surface in the RIS — you know what to chase.

Internal requests, without the noise.

GlobalAccess Asks centralizes internal requests — IT, HR, quality, biomed — without leaving the RIS. Radiologists have one place to look.
